As you ascend toward the summit (450m / 1480ft elevation), prepare for sweeping vistas that could make this the most unforgettable hike of your life. The unique geology of the area, shaped by the forces of nature, creates a stunning backdrop for your trek. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and towel for a refreshing dip in one of Iceland’s nearby natural hot springs.
